An interfaith network is where the leaders of faith communities: build trust work together on common issues educate each other about their faith, and hold events that show acceptance and understanding of different faith communities. Leaders of faith communities in Moreland formed the Interfaith Gathering in 1996.

Fawkner Interfaith Celebration - Sharing our stories
The celebration will feature interfaith conversations and stories, as well as a variety of multicultural and Halal food.

Join Faith, Food and Fabric Fun for World Interfaith Harmony Week, a United Nations initiative promoting harmony between all people regardless of their faith or religion.
WHEN: Saturday 2nd February, 10am - 12noon.
WHERE: PepperTree Place, 512 Sydney Road, Coburg
WHAT: Celebrate the diversity within our local community by sharing good food, fun activities and stories of how different people live life and practice their faith. Bake and ‘break’ traditional breads from cultures around the world. Create a wish or prayer ribbon and add your hopes to the PepperTree Place wishing tree. Enjoy performance, music and story telling that explores the theme of World Interfaith Harmony Week: ‘Love of Good and Love of Neighbour’.
